Having a drama finding the image file, once the beta 2 is downloaded it's in a winrar folder, when i open to view or extract files all i get is a text file saying: This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification. I can't actually find the image or iso at all..... Any help would be appreciated.

Can't see image file
The file you downloaded is an ISO. You need a ISO burning program to write it to a DVD (Nero, Alcohol, etc.). WinRAR will try to open it, but I haven't had much luck with WinRAR and ISO's. ISOBuster might work if you want individual files.

You need to open the image in your DVD Burning software: Burning the ISO Image in NERO and Roxio Easy CD Creator: NERO Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Roxio Open Creator Classic > click File > "Record Disc from Image" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored >click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Ensure that the ISO burns at a low speed, recommended speed, 2x for best results. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I have downloaded the beta 2 twice now, and both times I can't see the image file. It saves it as a winrar but all it contains when i open or extract is a text file saying: This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification. I am running windows xp pro I thought that this would not be an issue? the file is just over 3 Gb in size so it must be there somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
I think you should remove ISO from the file association preferences in WinRar. The way I burned it is with Nero Burning ROM, just go to 'Open' on the file menu and browse to the download and open. It will be ready to go, just click 'Burn'. ISO Buster is a free download from http://www.isobuster.com/ and you can extract the files with it.
